I was slightly surprised to read Victor Keegan in The Guardian mentioning the role of MySpace in campaigning during the recent National Union of Students elections. Having Googled around a bit it seems there is something bubbling under. I've been working on a project with my colleague James Sloam (a long way from seeing the light of day) about whether parties can adapt to young people's changing modes of political participation and this is intriguing.
